I have to say, BRAVO! What a wonderful home, so well stocked, sheets, towels. They even had charging blocks if you forgot your's. ALL the light switches were clergy labeled. I have stayed at many AIRBNB's I would highly recommend this lovely home!
We had a nice stay overall. The house was cozy, the backyard was beautiful, and my kids had an amazing time in the pool. The neighborhood was also very quiet and peaceful. Michael was respectful throughout our stay. There were just a few things that personally were not my preference as a guest. The host stopped by the property the day after check-in, which felt disruptive during our vacation. There is also an additional contract he brings outside of Airbnb regarding electricity usage that guests are required to sign. The information may be included in the listing description, but since I had never experienced that with an Airbnb before, it caught me by surprise. The checkout expectations were also more extensive than I’m personally used to, including washing beach towels, undoing beds, loading sheets into the washer, and following other house rules that seemed a bit much. Some guests may not mind this at all, but for me it felt like a lot considering there is already a cleaning fee.
House - 4.5/5 Host - 1/5 This host used computer methods to quickly switch a special description in and out right during the time of my purchase. They forced an in person meeting the first morning. We had no choice of time, he said “no, I’m coming” when we asked to reschedule. My wife is pregnant, and we just wanted to go to the beach. The meeting was not to show us stuff. It was to police us. He refused to fix broken locks which affected our safety. It was clearly to complain about previous tenants having a party and police us. It felt discriminatory and uncomfortable. The property manager made 2 really strange and kinda sexist comments about women and the pool. This is not how we wanted our vacation to start. Otherwise, the property was clean and included everything we needed for our trip.
